Adult Autism Advocates is a new local 501c3 non-profit in the Isle of Wight and Surry area (home to Breezy Hill Meadworks and venue for our Yule Festival).

To empower adults on the autism spectrum to live fulfilling, connected, and purpose-driven lives through nature-based learning, community engagement, and creative expression.

They envision a world where every adult with autism is celebrated for their unique gifts, supported in their growth, and included as an essential part of a thriving, compassionate community.

- Personalized mentoring and group programs that build independence, job readiness, and advocacy skills for real-world success.

- Inclusive gatherings, volunteer projects, and collaborations that strengthen belonging and connection within the wider community.
- Entrepreneur Apprenticeship Program
- A supportive pathway for participants to explore their passions, develop business ideas, and launch creative or service-based ventures.
- Creative Arts & Expression Workshops
- Hands-on art, music, and movement experiences that foster self-discovery, communication, and confidence.
- Seasonal Ceremonies & Celebrations
- Collaborative events—such as the Yule Festival wreath-making and Earth Day Humanitree Planting—that honor the rhythm of nature and our shared humanity.
- SylvoTherapy Nature Sessions
- Weekly outdoor gatherings that use the healing power of nature to support emotional regulation, sensory integration, and social connection.
